A short-sleeved cotton shirt printed with black and white photographic portraits of various stars including James Dean, Marlon Brando, Elvis Presley, Alain Delon, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin and Jayne Mansfield, amongst others, label removed; with a pair of black, grey and white striped loose trousers with elasticated waist and two-button fastening, unlabelled

Freddie was photographed wearing this shirt during the ‘La Nit’ Festival, Barcelona, October, 1988 which was staged to celebrate the arrival of the Olympic flag from Seoul ahead of the Summer Olympics, 1992 and where Freddie and Montserrat Caballé performed songs from their collaborative album ‘Barcelona’ at the open-air concert on 8 October – see lot 267 for Freddie’s dinner suit worn on this occasion.
