An uncut printers proof for a proposed Queen ‘Radio Ga Ga’ 1980s Christmas card signed on the front by Freddie Mercury in blue pen. The artwork on the front of the card features an image of Queen taken during the video shoot for ‘Radio Ga Ga’. This was also the image that was originally going to be used on the 7 inch single sleeve but it was withdrawn.

It is said that a number of these proofs were signed by Freddie Mercury in Germany in the mid 1980s prior to Christmas and they were then sent back to London where they were intended to be made into Christmas cards. However this project never materialised and the proofs remained in Freddie’s home, Garden Lodge, for over 35 years.

The card measures 52cm x 32cm (20.5 inches x 12 inches). The condition is excellent.
